The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. We take a conservative approach and recognize that treatment may not be necessary at this age. We often simply recommend semi-annual visits to monitor your child’s growth and the eruption of their teeth. This allows us to begin treatment at the ideal time — when it’s truly needed.
